Alton Brown in Cincinnati
Alton Brown was in town for the Cincinnati Home and Garden show today. As we were interested in the show anyway, we went to go see him. These are the best photos I was able to take. I should bring my good camera for stuff like this.
He gave a short presentation about where he tought the combination of TV and the internet would take home cooking (he was at the local cable provider's booth). Incidentlaly, his presentaiton was on a Mac (he's a long-time Mac user). It was actaully rather interesting.
He then had a Q&A, which was a bit frustrating for me. One person complained about the "exotic" ingredient in gumbo, file. Though it is not something I expect everyone to have heard of, I got my container, Louisiana's own Tony Chachere's brand, at Biggs (which is all over the city).
He signed autographs, though I choose not to stand in line (I met him before, and he signed my copy of I'm Just Here for the Food). All in all, though, a good afternoon.
