1998 was a busy year for us--lots of big, happy things in our life. So, this year we are celebrating several ten year anniversaries.
Ten years ago today (July 5), we got married. I have to say, of all the things that came out of 1998 (or really, ever) this was the best!
It's funny--it seems like forever...and not all that long.
The picture is of our ketubah, the most easily photographable thing from the wedding (short of the wedding pictures, where I looked scary (my wife, lovely)).
We have a babysitter for tonight, and we're going to the Precinct, a very nice restaurant in town.

Ten years ago yesterday (6/1), I started my job with my company. I'm observing it today, as it is the first business day.
I've been through a lot of change on this job, moving from strictly a tech geek to managing data centers. I matured in this role as a professional.
I've had my ups and downs, at times considering leaving. But, there has been enough good to balance out the bad. I think it is a good place to work.
Not-so-work-related, I can point to how I've lost weight over the last ten years. The picture to the left was the only one I can really find from that era, actually in early 1999.
Hard to say if there will be ten years more, but I will definitely be around for a while longer.

Ten years ago today, we bought our house. I believe this is the place I've lived the longest.
